About Symphony NH
Connect with Symphony NH (SNH) by learning more about the Symphony, the Symphony NH Chorus, their conductors, instrumentalists, singers, the administration (including employment opportunities), and the Board of Trustees.
With a rich history beginning with its founding in 1923 by conductor and educator Elmer “Pop” Wilson, Symphony NH (until 2012 known as the Nashua Symphony Orchestra) is the oldest professional orchestra in New Hampshire and the only one with an affiliated Symphony Chorus. SNH’s programs include a series of first-class orchestral and choral concerts each season in Nashua, chamber music concerts, related educational activities and more. Instrumentalists from the orchestra can play for your private event, and we’re always looking for talented professionals to join our ensemble.
We believe that classical music can build knowledge, foster personal growth and friendships and improve lives, and we value the communal joys uniquely attainable through live music. Symphony NH enriches the quality of life in New Hampshire through high-quality performances of orchestral and choral music, and by taking a leadership role in music education opportunities for citizens of all ages.
