Symphony New Hampshire Announces the 2024-25 Concert Season

Symphony NH (SNH) seeks to enrich the quality of life in New Hampshire through high-quality performances of live orchestral music, and by taking a leadership role in the music-education opportunities for citizens of all ages.

New Hampshire (5/21/2024) … Symphony New Hampshire Music Director Roger Kalia has curated a farewell season that will show New Hampshire how much he loves us! Mixing time-honored treasures with lesser-known gems, the SNH 2024-25 season. Opening with Mahler 4, and ending with Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, there is something for everyone in this upcoming season.

Executive Director Deanna Hoying says, “We will once again be traveling through Southern New Hampshire to expand our audiences and share the Symphonic Sound of the Granite State with those in Concord, Manchester, Derry as well as our home in Nashua at the new Nashua Center for the Arts.”

New Series
SNH and the Capitol Center for the Arts are joining forces for a three-part series of Illuminated Ensembles. “Concord is becoming our home away from home,” Hoying says. “We are pleased that our relationship with the Capitol Center for the Arts continues to develop as partners in presenting the highest quality orchestral performances to Concord audiences.”

Farewell Maestro
“It’s Roger’s last season with SNH,” pines Hoying.  “While we are sad he is leaving us, we truly appreciate his commitment to the communities we serve and are grateful for his leadership through the difficulties of the pandemic as well as his artistic vision throughout his entire tenure with us.  We hope to bring him back as a guest conductor in the future!”

This performance will feature some of the most well-known overtures from Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro to Leonard Bernstein’s West Side Story.
